Extraction at waste processing centre

At the waste processing plants of a recycling company, large quantities of industrial waste are processed into raw materials and fuels.
Due to the increasing presence of films in the waste streams, the operators were forced to stop the plants several times a day.
At these standstills, the films had to be manually removed from the waste processing line.

Typhoon could completely eliminate the problem by separating extracted material flow over 3 dynamic condensers.
These separators were able to remove all films from the air streams. During this conversion project, Typhoon also renewed the cyclones and pipelines.
The piping and cyclones are equipped with wear-resistant steel parts. This is important for these very abrasive applications. 

Since these adjustments, the efficiency of the plant has more than doubled.
